When I was a kid, I always wanted to play hockey like Richard Brodeur. As a fan of the Vancouver Canucks, I remember the crazy scene as thousands of Canucks fans waved towels in the air, and King Richard was unstoppable in the eyes of this little boy.

I’ve told them how I actually had to get up to change the channel on the TV, and how I had to wait for two minutes for my phone to dial in to the internet. My kids have heard stories about the times I almost died drowning in a pool or in a lake. They’ve heard about my finest moments, and my lowest moments.
